A review of the species of Hydrometra Latreille occurring in Colombia, with a key to species and distribution map (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Hydrometridae).

Five species of Hydrometra are known to occur in Colombia: H. argentina, H. caraiba, H. comata, H. guianana and H. exalla. An illustrated key to these species and distribution records by department are given. In addition, the previously unknown macropterous female of Hydrometra exalla Drake and Lauck, 1959 is described, based on material from western Pacific Colombia.
